Exhibitions

Our third annual Creations in Wood exhibition will be held from Wednesday 2 November to Saturday 26 November 2016 at Gallery Lane Cove.
All members are encouraged to consider submitting. From cutting boards to cutting edge, share your work with others. This is an opportunity for everyone to participate: professionals, semi-professionals and hobbyists alike. A maximum of six pieces per person applies, but no restrictions apply to the date at which the piece was made. However, pieces exhibited in previous exhibitions can’t be entered. Plan and design your pieces now and start working on your creations.

Date: Wednesday 2 November to Saturday 26 November 2016
Venue: Gallery Lane Cove, 164 Longueville Road, Lane Cove
Application deadline: 31st August 2016

Please pay attention to a few changes made from last year.
1. The exhibition period will be 4 weeks.
2. A $50 Fee is applied. It is no longer a Bond due to changes with the Gallery contract.
3. A 25 per cent commission plus GST on any sales is payable to the gallery. It is no longer 30 per cent.
4. 6 items can be submitted by an applicant. However the number may be subject to change depending on demands.
5. Medal box competition
In addition to the usual exhibition of members’ work, this year a new segment is being introduced in the form of a wooden medal box competition.
Medal boxes submitted will be judged by the Gallery Lane Cove curator and the prize for the winning entry will be $50.00.
Please specify “Medal box” in the exhibition application form.
