Sharpening is an art. Techniques can be demonstrated but it is only through practice that we learn to keep our tools as sharp as we can make
them.

Very sharp tools can improve the accuracy of your woodwork and so the quality of the objects you create. There are a variety of methods for keeping the blades sharp and in the best of condition. A range of these methods will be demonstrated on this day.

Members are encouraged to bring tools that need sharpening and to try out the methods being demonstrated.

There will be a morning session and an afternoon session to maximise the number of members who can attend on this day. There will be a barbecue provided towards the end of the session
