Supporting all things fine woodworking in New South Wales. Find out more about our skill building courses, workshop space, general meetings with amazing speakers, and other opportunities to meet passionate professional and amateur woodworkers

The Woodworkers Association of NSW promotes the appreciation of fine woodworking and encourages creativity, design and skill development for all woodworkers. It is a forum for networking, exchanging ideas and enjoying camaraderie among woodworkers.

Our workshop is open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm for the use of members. If two or more members want to use the workshop on other days they can arrange this with a committee member providing they are qualified to operate the machines they will be using.

The association also represents professional woodworkers and it promotes environmental awareness, judicious use of native timber resources and sustainably harvested, recycled and reclaimed timbers.

The association holds exhibitions of members’ work and organizes competitions among its members, other woodworkers and woodworking groups around Australia.
