Membership
The Woodworkers Association of NSW members include highly skilled professional woodworkers, semi-professionals, and hobbyists – essentially anyone who loves working with wood. We encourage anyone who shares our passion to join regardless of your skill level.
Community
First and foremost the Association is a community of people invested in the same field, whether professional or not.
Our Member Meetings are a great opportunity to catch up with other woodworkers from across the state and hear what exciting things are happening. These meetings are held on the first Monday of every second month: February, April, June, August, October and December, unless the first Monday falls on a public holiday in which case it will be held on the second Monday of that month.
See some of our members' project work in the Gallery.
Stay informed with our bi-monthly newsletters and website articles.
Promote your woodworking skills on our growing Local Woodworkers and Makers directory.
Skill building
If you want to learn a range of skills and techniques our Woodworking Courses are constantly changing and growing.
We aim to provide high quality and engaging courses in woodwork for people of all levels. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, if you have an interest in refining your skills it is our aim to help you get what you need while creating a strong community of people with a shared passion.
Learn new skills in our members-only courses.
Pick up tips and insights from project walkthroughs presented by members and special guests at our General Meetings.

Access to our Workshop
We have a fully equipped Woodworking Workshop in Abbotsford and is made available to all members on Wednesdays and Sundays every week.
The Workshop has a great selection of professional woodworking equipment as well as supervisors on site who can give you assistance on your project.
Members enjoy regular get-togethers in our workshop to work on their own projects or just watch other members and learn new skills.
Members can also borrow from our woodworking book library.
